Mental Health Care Provider
Mackenzie Health is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Mental Health Nurse to provide high-quality care to patients in various mental health settings. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure the well-being of our patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide effective and efficient patient care management.
- Implement evidence-based practices in all aspects of patient care.
- Demonstrate professionalism and empathy in all interactions with patients, families, and colleagues.
- Ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and best practices.
Requirements:
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Basic Cardiac Life Support certification.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in mental health nursing.
- Strong clinical skills and comprehensive knowledge of psychiatric diagnoses.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively collaborate with diverse individuals.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Certification in CPMHN (Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse).
- Knowledge of Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) principles and techniques.
- Baccalaureate degree in Nursing.
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiac Life Support) certification.
