Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, ensuring high-quality presentation and taste.
- Staff Training and Development: Train kitchen staff and helpers in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
- Kitchen Operations Management: Supervise kitchen staff, maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment, and ensure a clean and safe kitchen environment.
- Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, and provide excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Order supplies and equipment, and maintain accurate inventory records.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role.
- Physical Demands: Ability to stand for extended periods, handle heavy loads, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Personal Suitability: Dependability, excellent oral communication, flexibility, organized, reliability, and a team player.
