Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated Concrete Finishing Specialist to join our team at Dreamcast Design & Production. This role requires a strong attention to detail and a commitment to delivering high-quality concrete finishes.

Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 2 to 3 years in concrete finishing.
Work Environment
  • Exposure to dusty and noisy conditions.
  • Relocation costs are not covered by the employer; candidates must be willing to relocate.
Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and eliminate imperfections on freshly poured concrete.
  • Utilize power vibrators to effectively compact concrete.
  • Ensure the top surface of concrete is leveled according to specified grades and depths.
  • Apply desired finishes to concrete surfaces using both hand and power tools.
  • Implement hardening and sealing components to cure surfaces.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore concrete surfaces as needed.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures.
  • Interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications accurately.

  • Colors and sealers.
  • Hardners and epoxies.
  • Lightweight concrete.

  • Criminal record check is required.
Transportation and Travel
  • A valid driver's license is necessary.
  • Public transportation options are available.
Physical Requirements
  • Physically demanding role involving handling heavy loads.
  • Must be able to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
  • Attention to detail is crucial.
  • Ability to stand for extended periods and demonstrate manual dexterity.
  • Weight handling capacity of up to 45 kg (100 lbs).
Tools and Equipment
  • Steel-toed safety boots are required.
