About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Concrete Finisher to join our team at Sutherland Concrete Ltd. As a Concrete Finisher, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest quality finishes on our concrete structures.

Key Responsibilities
  • Fill hollows and remove spots on freshly poured cement to achieve a smooth finish.
  • Operate power vibrators to compact concrete and ensure it is properly set.
  • Level top surface concrete according to grade and depth specification to meet our quality standards.
  • Install anchor bolts, steel plates, door sills, and other fixtures to ensure a secure and durable finish.
  • Waterproof, damp proof, and restore surfaces to prevent damage and extend the lifespan of our structures.
  • Repair, resurface, and replace worn or damaged sections of concrete structures to maintain their integrity.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, as you will be working on construction sites and standing for extended periods. You must be able to lift heavy materials and work in a fast-paced environment.
