Role Overview: As a Senior Financial Services Advisor, you will utilize your communication expertise to effectively navigate complex scenarios, resolve issues, and deliver tailored financial guidance. You will ensure that members' intricate inquiries are addressed promptly and in accordance with established service standards. Your knowledge and expertise will facilitate the growth of Financial Services Representatives, ensuring that members' needs are met and aligning with branch objectives. A solid understanding of Vancity's policies, procedures, systems, and software is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute member transactions in line with established standards to maintain high-quality service delivery.
  • Identify and evaluate member and prospect needs to recommend suitable products, services, and referrals.
  • Provide ongoing technical support to both new and experienced service team members to uphold member experience standards.
  • Enforce branch service standards and ensure compliance with policies and procedures.
  • Implement and support adherence to controls to meet compliance and security requirements, thereby mitigating risk.

Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma: You have completed high school or possess an equivalent qualification.
  • Customer Service Experience: You have at least one year of professional experience interacting with clients and businesses.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in cross-training or leadership roles.
  • Background in call center and branch operations.
  • Post-secondary education or diploma in a related field.

Compensation: As this is a union position, the salary will align with the collective agreement salary grid, starting at $30.25.
