Job Summary

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain the University's budget system, including the preparation of annual budgets and internal and external reporting.
  • Conduct financial analysis and forecasting to support senior management decision-making.
  • Provide technical support to various stakeholders, including Budget Owners, Financial Services management, and external auditors.
  • Lead the team tasked with designing, building, testing, implementing, and maintaining a new system for budget and forecast reporting.
  • Prepare and analyze financial reports, including account analysis, budget analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Work with external auditors to provide accurate information and prepare reconciliations for specific accounts.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field (BBA/BCom).
  • Three years of directly related work experience, including experience in accounting, budgeting, and financial reporting.
  • Combination of education and experience may be considered.
  • Obtained or working towards the CPA designation considered an asset.
  • Experience working with external auditors.
