Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Specialist in Workforce Planning and Employment Strategies to join our team at Health Careers in Sask. As a key member of our Human Resources department, you will play a critical role in designing, delivering, and implementing human resource services and strategies to improve operations, achieve goals, and resolve issues.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide advanced knowledge as a strategic partner and subject matter expert within the Human Resources Department
  • Design, deliver, and implement human resource services and strategies to improve operations, achieve goals, and resolve issues
  • Provide solutions for workforce planning and employment strategies issues, including collective agreement interpretation, union negotiation, recruitment and retention strategies, organizational change, layoff, hiring, human rights, provincial labour law related to employment applications, in-scope and out-of-scope job evaluation and classification, salary administration, market supplements, immigration, diversity and inclusion, representative workforce, organizational design, workforce optimization, and health human resource planning

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience in Human Resources
  • Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA), Bachelor of Commerce (BComm), Business Administration diploma (DBA), or Human Resources diploma
  • Valid Class 5 driver's license
  • Licensed, and in good standing, with regulatory body, if applicable
  • Undergraduate degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience
