The ideal candidate will have 3-5 years' experience in a complex healthcare environment, a Bachelor's degree in a health-related discipline, and valid Class 5 driver's license. Lean improvement training/certification is an asset. The Specialist will facilitate a culture of quality and model a rigorous approach to quality improvement. The role requires advanced project management skills, advanced mobilization and leadership skills, advanced organizational and planning skills, advanced communication and computer skills, and advanced leadership and collaborative skills. The Specialist will also have knowledge of First Nation and Métis history in Saskatchewan, analytical thinking, and ability to assist others to recognize key issues. The role requires a commitment to a diverse, representative workforce and cultural safety. Travel within Saskatchewan is required.
