About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Culinary Specialist to join our team at DC Ventures Inc. as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Food Safety and Quality Control: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure that food and service meet quality control standards.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure that they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Cleanliness and Organization: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment for our customers and staff.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
  • Work Setting: Fast food outlet or concession.
