Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a Registered Apprenticeship program or equivalent certification.
  • Experience: A minimum of 5 years in a professional kitchen environment.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a dynamic setting, including hotels, resorts, and other hospitality venues.

Key Responsibilities
  • Maintain accurate records of food costs, consumption, sales, and inventory.
  • Oversee the activities of specialized chefs, cooks, and kitchen staff.
  • Provide guidance to cooks in the preparation, cooking, garnishing, and presentation of culinary creations.
  • Regularly prepare and cook meals, including specialty items for events and guests.
  • Lead and instruct team members in baking techniques and food presentation.
