Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team at Manitoulin Transport. As an Administrative Assistant, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our daily activities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Dispatch and Logistics
    • Coordinate the dispatch of drivers to ensure timely delivery of goods.
    • Monitor and manage inventory levels to prevent stockouts.
  • Customer Service
    • Provide exceptional customer service to our clients, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely manner.
    • Assist customers with product inquiries and provide information on our services.
  • Administrative Tasks
    • Process daily batches of sales, payments, purchases, and deposits.
    • Generate lubricant invoices as needed.
    • Perform daily inventory reconciliation and resolve any outstanding issues.
  • Payroll and Financial Management
    • Submit payroll hours on a weekly basis.
    • Assist with month-end processes, including inventory reconciliation.
  • Qualifications and Skills
    • High school diploma or equivalent required.
    • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
    • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
    • Proficiency in computer software and applications.
