Job Overview

We are seeking a talented, collaborative, and experienced Paralegal and Legal Operations Specialist to assist our US legal team and provide support with contract administration and legal operations. The role will involve reviewing, drafting, and amending legal documents, as necessary. In addition, this role will help the department develop and execute on legal project management strategies that deliver efficient and effective results to internal and external clients.

Responsibilities

  • Review and interpret contracts and other legal documents to ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Draft and amend legal documents using in-house templates and best practices.
  • Manage templates and distribute them to the proper business groups to ensure the most recent versions are being utilized.
  • Partner with internal business partners and serve as a subject matter expert for contracts administration-related issues.
  • Process documents for signatures via electronic signature platforms.
  • Track outstanding legal items for the team and ensure timely completion.
  • Scan, file, and organize documents in a secure and compliant manner.
  • Work with the Director of Legal Operations to develop processes and tools to effectively manage legal projects and achieve department objectives.
  • Optimize contract management processes, including tracking, alerts, and automation of contract-related tasks.
  • Drive legal projects from drafting a project plan to execution and completion, and update the team on progression throughout the project.
  • Support the Legal team with invoice management and other administrative tasks.
  • Provide general support on an as-needed basis.

Qualifications

  • 3-4 years' experience with contract administration and legal project management.
  • Ability to read and understand contractual terms with strong experience in reviewing and amending agreements.
  • Foreign language fluency in Spanish, Portuguese, Japanese, French, and/or German is a plus.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to be flexible to changing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and good analytical skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365, Salesforce, electronic signature platforms, and legal software is a plus.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to engage comfortably at all levels with internal clients, both within the US and internationally.
  • Highly motivated, strategic, detail-oriented individual with the ability to proactively manage a heavy workload and demonstrate excellent analytical abilities.
