Kitchen Operations Manager

Nanaimo Joe's Enterprise Ltd. is seeking a skilled Kitchen Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service.
Key Responsibilities:- Establish and implement efficient kitchen procedures to meet production schedules.
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.
- Train staff on job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation and ensure quality control standards are met.
- Prepare and submit reports on kitchen operations, including stock levels, repairs, and sales data.
- Collaborate with the chef to prepare food order summaries and ensure timely delivery of food trolleys.
- Supervise and check the assembly of trays and delivery of food to ensure high-quality presentation.
- 2 years of experience in a kitchen supervisory role.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.
- Physical stamina to stand for extended periods and perform manual tasks.
- Attention to detail and ability to maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Fast-paced kitchen environment with high noise levels and exposure to odors and heat.
- Standing for extended periods and performing manual tasks.
- Client-focused and able to work effectively in a team environment.
- Excellent oral communication and interpersonal skills.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing priorities.
