At Alberta Health Services, we offer a competitive rate of pay and a Northern Allowance of up to $6,300 per year. Additionally, eligible employees can receive an annual reimbursement of up to $1,235 for personal travel expenses within Alberta.

Description:

As a Maintenance Worker III, you will perform skilled maintenance and repair work on patient and hospital equipment, as well as complex mechanical systems. Your duties may include troubleshooting and repairing electronic components, monitoring and repairing boilers, HVAC, medical air and vacuum systems, and pure water systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventative and demand maintenance on building systems and equipment
  • Troubleshoot and repair electronic components on patient and hospital equipment
  • Monitor and repair boilers, HVAC, medical air and vacuum systems, and pure water systems
  • Coordinate and assign work to other Maintenance Worker staff as needed

Requirements:

  • Completion of post-secondary education in a related field or 1 year specialized/technical training in a related field
  • 5th Class Power Engineer Certificate as per ABSA kW rating guidelines or AHS standards where boiler support is necessary
  • Valid driver's license
