Job Title: Environmental Risk Assessment Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Environmental Risk Assessment Specialist to join our dynamic team at WSP. As a key member of our Remediation Program Management team, you will play a critical role in assessing and mitigating environmental risks for our clients across Alberta.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough risk assessments and provide expert advice on environmental remediation strategies
  • Develop and implement effective risk management plans to ensure compliance with regulatory frameworks
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate environmental risks
  • Provide technical guidance and support to junior staff members
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in environmental risk assessment and remediation

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or higher in environmental science, toxicology, or a related field
  • 3+ years of experience in environmental risk assessment and remediation
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta and federal regulatory frameworks
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
