The ideal candidate is a quick learner who adopts a comprehensive approach to grasping the industry, competitive dynamics, and client needs to deliver effective solutions. Strong presentation and narrative skills are crucial for success in this role, and collaboration is key.
Your Responsibilities- Lead a sales team by formulating and executing sales strategies aimed at acquiring new business and ensuring client retention. Conduct territory assessments to meet sales objectives and collaborate with Product, Marketing, and other essential partners to achieve collective success.
- Recruit, develop, and maintain a high-performing sales team, fostering a positive and cooperative atmosphere. Establish clear sales objectives with daily and monthly targets, providing guidance to achieve annual goals.
- Analyze sales reports and performance metrics. Coach team members on effective pipeline management, sales volume, activity, and key performance indicators regularly.
- Establish and nurture strong connections with educational institutions, including Deans, Chairs, and procurement teams. Build relationships that align with strategic goals, including increasing Inclusive Access leads and optimizing channels.
- Facilitate the training and development of newly hired sales personnel and support the growth of senior sales talent, creating unique pathways for professional advancement.
- Conduct mid-year and annual performance evaluations, assist in coaching plans, and implement performance improvement strategies as necessary. Provide insights on time management, skill enhancement, and team development objectives.
- Encourage a collaborative approach by working with internal teams, including Marketing and Product, to devise and implement successful sales strategies, including participation in events and team projects focused on innovation and future planning.
- 5 years of experience in the Learning Science sector, with a preference for sales experience.
- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma.
- 5 years of experience with digital platforms.
- Knowledge of marketing strategies and strong communication abilities.
- Goal-oriented mindset with a collaborative spirit.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office is essential.
- Experience with CRM systems is preferred.
- A valid driver's license and willingness to travel are required.
