About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Kitchen Helper to join our team at Hakka Hut. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our food preparation and service areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation and Service
    • Prepare, heat, and finish simple food items to meet customer demands.
    • Portion and wrap foods for serving.
    • Package take-out food for customers.
  • Cleaning and Sanitation
    • Clean and sanitize kitchen equipment, utensils, and work surfaces.
    • Remove kitchen garbage and trash.
    • Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors.
  • Inventory Management
    • Replenish condiments and supplies at tables and serving areas.
    • Keep records of food quantities used.
  • Customer Service
    • Serve customers at counters or buffet tables.
    • Take customers' orders.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
    • Will train on the job.
  • Work Environment
    • Fast-paced environment.
    • Physically demanding.
    • Repetitive tasks.
    • Standing for extended periods.

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position, working 35 hours per week. The work language is English.
