The Office of Equity and Anti-Racism (OEA) is committed to promoting fairness and anti-racism efforts within Nova Scotia. We are looking for a Policy Analyst to become a vital member of our innovative team. In this role, you will be instrumental in researching, formulating, and evaluating policy alternatives concerning equity and anti-racism to guide decision-making within the department.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct research and analysis on policy alternatives related to equity and anti-racism
  • Offer project management and assistance for assigned projects and initiatives
  • Draft briefing documents and recommendations for upper management

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
  • Comprehension of equity and anti-racism principles
  • Background in policy analysis and project management
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Capability to foster collaborative working relationships
  • Familiarity with governmental processes and legislative frameworks
