About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Patient Scheduling Coordinator to join our team at CB Canada. As a Patient Scheduling Coordinator, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Appointment Scheduling: Create and maintain patient appointment schedules to optimize clinic and homecare efficiencies.
  • Communication: Handle all customer communication, including scheduling initial patient appointments, rescheduling established series, and collaborating with nursing services on staffing challenges.
  • Reporting: Report adverse events, serious adverse events, and product complaints in accordance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Participate in close communication with field nurses and business area managers as required.
  • Process Improvement: Identify scheduling challenges and opportunities, and follow department escalation processes to resolution.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Strategize with key stakeholders to proactively mitigate risk and achieve optimal patient experiences.
  • Workload Management: Manage workload, including evaluating and re-prioritizing daily tasks, and exercising proactive team collaboration to ensure key performance indicators are achieved.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary education or equivalent in a related discipline.
  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in the healthcare, pharmaceutical, or biotechnology industry, with scheduling experience an asset.
  • Skills: Strong communication, critical thinking, and interpersonal skills; proficiency in Microsoft applications; ability to organize time, set priorities, and multitask; flexibility to changing departmental and organizational landscapes.
