About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering Technology to join our Commercial Technology team. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for driving the technical strategy and direction of our Engineering Technology function, ensuring alignment with our commercial objectives and priorities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the development of technical strategies and roadmaps to support commercial objectives and priorities
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze, design, and implement technologies and applications that enable Four Seasons to be a leader in the luxury hospitality industry
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in areas such as cloud technologies, microservices, and modern web development
  • Provide technical guidance and support to development teams, ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that meet business requirements
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and advancements, identifying opportunities to leverage new technologies and innovations to drive business growth and improvement
Requirements
  • 7+ years of experience in digital engineering technologies, including ecommerce, web, and mobile applications
  • Expert skills in architecting solutions for enterprise applications running in a cloud-first environment
  • Proven experience leading developers, reviewing code, mentoring, and teaching best practices
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working in a Scrum environment
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as computer science or business
Preferred Qualifications
  • Architecture certification (TOEGAF or similar)
  • Hospitality experience
  • Ecommerce experience
  • Salesforce experience
  • Oracle system experience
