Job Title: Academic Governance Manager

At Nunavut Tunngavik Incorporated, we are seeking a highly skilled Academic Governance Manager to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting the work of our Members, Board of Directors, and Executive Committee.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate and support the work of our Members, Board of Directors, and Executive Committee.
  • Provide governance training and orientation to our Members and boards as required.
  • Offer advice to our CEO on best practices for conducting meetings and governance.
  • Travel extensively within Nunavut to attend meetings and record resolutions and minutes.

Requirements:

  • A college diploma in office administration or a related field.
  • Experience in managing financial resources.
  • Experience using Microsoft Office, including SharePoint, Adobe software, and iPad.
  • Superior written and verbal communications abilities in Inuktut and English.

What We Offer:

  • A competitive salary of $60,000 to $80,000 per annum (commensurate with experience).
  • A comprehensive benefit package, including an employee pension plan, group insurance, and vacation travel assistance.
