Market Insight & Commercial Strategy Analyst

We are seeking a highly skilled Market Insight & Commercial Strategy Analyst to join our commercial strategy team at Belron Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in transforming available data into actionable insights, facilitating business decisions and driving growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain new reports using various data sources to meet the organization's intelligence needs.
  • Analyze company performance, providing insights and recommendations based on sales and external data.
  • Bridge company performance with market information to support commercial decision-making.
  • Manage and maintain pricing, addressing operational needs related to tariffs.
Your Profile:
  • Develop various analysis and synthesis reports using tools such as PowerBI, SQL, VS Code, RStudio, and SSIS.
  • Transform multiple sources of varied and complex information into simple and concise presentations for different levels of management teams.
  • Possess excellent communication and presentation skills to effectively convey findings and recommendations to the management team.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Finance, Accounting, or Information Management.
  • 3 to 5 years of experience in data intelligence or data science, including building and analyzing large datasets to solve business problems.
  • Excellent knowledge and experience with Transact-SQL or another SQL language.
  • Familiarity with report-building tools such as PowerBI and the DAX language.
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • Strong knowledge of the R language.
  • Understanding of data extraction and compilation methodologies via applications or protocols such as APIs, web services, packages, etc.
