About the Role

We are seeking a reliable and physically fit individual to join our team as a Campground Maintenance Specialist at Swens Contracting Ltd.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor Safety Areas: Ensure the campground is a safe environment for guests by conducting regular safety checks and reporting any hazards or incidents.
  • Clean and Maintain Recreational Facilities: Perform daily cleaning and maintenance tasks to keep the facilities in good condition, including restrooms, showers, and other amenities.
  • Assist Clients/Guests with Special Needs: Provide support and assistance to guests with special needs, such as mobility or accessibility requirements.
  • Security Checks: Conduct regular security checks to ensure the campground is secure and free from any potential threats.
  • Valid Driver's Licence and Vehicle Provided: A valid driver's licence and a company vehicle will be provided for work-related tasks.
  • Physical Demands: The role requires standing, walking, and handling heavy loads, so a high level of physical fitness is essential.
  • Availability for Shift Work: The successful candidate will be required to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
  • Legal Ability to Work in Canada: The candidate must have the legal right to work in Canada.
  • Proximity to Workplace: While not essential, living close to the workplace is preferred.
  • Free Parking: Free parking is available on site.
  • Support for Newcomers, Refugees, and Youths: We offer support and resources for newcomers, refugees, and youths to help them settle into their new role.
  • Permanent Position: This is a permanent position with 40 hours per week.
