Position Summary

Our extensive network of pharmacy fulfillment centers ensures timely and efficient medication delivery, enhancing the quality of care for our residents.

Role Responsibilities

As a Pharmacy Support staff member, you will work under the guidance of our pharmacy management team and alongside registered pharmacy professionals. Your primary responsibility will be to assist the pharmacy team in achieving optimal pharmacy outcomes.

Key Duties Include:

  • Operating advanced dispensing and verification machinery, with training provided
  • Modifying medication strips according to physician directives
  • Reorganizing medication allocations as necessary
  • Monitoring and maintaining pharmacy inventory when required
  • Pre-packaging medications using pharmacy equipment as needed
  • Performing various support tasks as directed
  • Collaborating with pharmacy team members to ensure accurate and timely medication dispensing
  • Completing daily responsibilities in line with established policies and procedures
  • Consulting with pharmacy management regarding any unresolved operational issues
  • Adhering to corporate regulations and maintaining confidentiality
  • Ensuring a clean and safe working environment
  • Providing training and mentorship to pharmacy team members when necessary

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Previous experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or in a pharmacy setting is advantageous
  • Ability to lift weights up to 4.5 kg (10 lbs) regularly
  • Capacity to stand for extended periods as required
  • Proven ability to build strong working relationships with colleagues
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time management abilities
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Critical thinking skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively
  • Initiative and creativity in problem-solving
  • Self-motivated and capable of working independently
  • Commitment to achieving high-quality results
  • Good listening skills and adaptability to changes in the work environment
