We are seeking a skilled Construction Painter to join our team at Insite Construction Management. As a Construction Painter, you will be responsible for preparing, cleaning, and painting surfaces to ensure a high-quality finish.
Key Responsibilities- Surface Preparation: Clean and sand surfaces to be painted, and repair cracks and holes to ensure a smooth finish.
- Painting and Finishing: Apply paint, wallpaper, and other materials to interior and exterior surfaces, using a variety of techniques and equipment.
- Equipment and Machinery: Operate airless spray equipment, brush painting, conventional spray painting, multi-ratio pump spraying, patterned rollers, and roller painting.
- Coating and Application: Apply fire retardants, multi-color finishes, urethanes, and paint spraying to meet project requirements.
- Wall Covering: Install wallpaper and other wall coverings to ensure a professional finish.
- Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Work in a fast-paced environment, with attention to detail, hand-eye coordination, and the ability to distinguish between colors.
- Personal Suitability: Demonstrate flexibility, initiative, and reliability in a team environment.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
- Support for Newcomers and Refugees: Insite Construction Management offers mentorship programs that pair newcomers and/or refugees with experienced employees.
- Permanent Employment: A stable and secure work environment.
- English Language: English is the primary language of communication in the workplace.
- 40 Hours per Week: A standard full-time work schedule.
