Key Responsibilities
In the role of Site Supervisor, you will oversee the secure manufacturing, delivery, and detonation of our premium bulk emulsion products, adhering to all relevant safety management protocols. Your daily responsibilities will include managing on-site operations, enhancing client relationships, and ensuring that we consistently achieve top-tier results while adhering to budgetary constraints. Specific duties include:
- Promote a Zero Harm culture in Health, Safety & Environment
- Ensure timely completion of all necessary documentation, including regulatory and site-specific reports
- Collaborate with clients to meet production objectives and ensure targeted outcomes are achieved
- Manage the procurement of necessary parts
- Maintain accurate on-site inventory records
- Comply with Dyno Nobel's Health and Safety Management System protocols
- Ensure all team members complete required training in a timely manner
- Adapt swiftly to a dynamic work environment
- Guarantee that all personnel adhere to safety protocols and maintain safe working conditions at the facility and during blasting operations to safeguard personal and collective safety (Zero Harm)
- Prepare and maintain comprehensive records and monthly reports related to production and sales of explosive products
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years of supervisory experience in a mining context
- Experience with rotational work schedules and workforce management
- Background in bulk emulsions is considered advantageous
- Proficient in Excel and other Office applications
- Strong communication, leadership, and multitasking abilities
- Valid driver's license and must be at least 21 years old
- Availability to work a 3 x 3 rotation schedule
- Collaborate with the Site Manager to ensure operational reliability
- Willingness to undergo various pre-employment verifications, including background checks and medical assessments.
