Mining Procedure Coordinator

YOUR NEXT OPPORTUNITY
As a vital member of the Health and Safety Department, reporting directly to the Health & Safety General Supervisor, you will play a key role in the formulation and enhancement of essential operational protocols. Your contributions will be instrumental in achieving organizational goals while upholding Agnico Eagle's core values, Health & Safety Code of Conduct, and environmental stewardship.
Key Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with various departments to develop comprehensive operational protocols;
- Oversee the management of the procedures storage system, including nomenclature and approval processes;
- Partner with the Training Department to ensure effective communication of procedures through training materials;
- Assist departments in maintaining compliance with established procedures;
- Conduct field visits to verify the accuracy and applicability of the developed procedures.
Qualifications for Success:
- Bachelor's degree in Mining or Metallurgical Engineering;
- 2-4 years of relevant engineering experience, ideally within the mining sector;
- Familiarity with both underground and open pit mining operations;
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
