Job Title: Insulation Specialist

At PB-23 DRYWALL & CONSTRUCTION LTD., we are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team. As an Insulation Specialist, you will be responsible for installing and maintaining insulation materials in various types of buildings.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and apply the appropriate type of insulation material for the job
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to the required shape and dimensions using hand and power tools
  • Apply and secure insulation using various methods, including spraying, blowing, pasting, strapping, and taping
  • Fit insulation around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
  • Supervise other workers and ensure that the job is completed to a high standard
  • Estimate costs and materials required for the job
  • Operate computer software systems to design and plan insulation installations
  • Remove asbestos, ceramic fibres, lead, and mould and urea-formaldehyde insulation materials from buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, drawings, and specifications
