Job Title: Insulation Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Insulation Specialist to join our team at PB-23 DRYWALL & CONSTRUCTION LTD.

Job Summary:

The Insulation Specialist will be responsible for installing and maintaining insulation materials in various types of buildings. This includes selecting the appropriate type of insulation, measuring and cutting materials to required dimensions, and applying and securing insulation using various methods.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Select and apply insulation materials to meet thermal performance requirements
  • Measure and cut insulation materials to fit around obstructions and between joists and studs
  • Install vapour barriers and fire-retardant materials
  • Supervise and train other workers on insulation installation and maintenance
  • Estimate costs and materials for insulation projects
  • Operate computer software systems for CADD and other applications
  • Remove hazardous insulation materials from buildings
  • Read and interpret blueprints, maps, and specifications for insulation projects
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in insulation installation and maintenance
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment with heavy loads and standing for extended periods
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills
Work Environment:

The Insulation Specialist will work in a variety of building environments, including residential, commercial, and industrial settings. The work will involve standing for extended periods, handling heavy loads, and working in confined spaces.
