Position Overview

WHAT'S THE ROLE?
Become a part of our Dexterra Integrated Facilities Management team, where our personnel are motivated by a commitment to innovation, social responsibility, and advancing construction practices.

As a Facilities Operations Specialist, you will organize and execute all scheduled and unscheduled maintenance for the facilities, equipment, vehicles, and systems. Your responsibilities will also include managing inventory, assisting with cleaning duties as needed, and handling the delivery and collection of supplies and laundry.

Your responsibilities will encompass:

Timely execution of scheduled and unscheduled maintenance tasks Repairs on small tools, automation systems, vehicles, and equipment Collaborating closely with Supervisors and Operations Managers to meet deadlines Tracking, receiving, and unloading inventory Conducting audits and periodic inspections of building structures to identify repair needs; establishing and coordinating preventive measures and work practices to minimize maintenance issues. Assisting leadership in completing Job Hazard Assessments and Accident and Incident reports. Promoting safe work practices and procedures that comply with and exceed the minimum Health and Safety Standards. Possessing a solid understanding of all liabilities and enforcement of policies and procedures regarding Health and Safety regulations. Supporting custodial cleaning efforts when requested Maintaining other site areas, including snow removal and lawn care

Qualifications

WHO ARE WE SEEKING?

A minimum of 5 years of experience in Canada A clear criminal background Mechanical aptitude A valid driver's license with a clean driving record Strong organizational skills with excellent reading and writing abilities Capability to lift and carry weights between 25-50lbs
