About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Facilities Maintenance Specialist to join our team at Trans-United Consultants Ltd. as a key member of our maintenance and repair team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Preparation and Analysis
    • Prepare detailed reports and statistics related to areas of responsibility, including equipment maintenance and repair.
    • Analyze blueprints to determine dimensions of structure or system and material requirements.
  • Maintenance and Repair
    • Estimate costs of installing and maintaining equipment or service.
    • Develop and implement schedules and procedures for safety inspections and preventive maintenance programs.
    • Direct the maintenance and repair of an establishment's machinery, equipment, and electrical and mechanical systems.
    • Troubleshoot problems related to equipment.
  • Communication and Teamwork
    • Develop and maintain effective communication with team members and stakeholders.
    • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure seamless maintenance and repair operations.
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in MS Office and other relevant software applications.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
    • Meet the physical demands of the role, including standing, walking, and lifting.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team.
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
    • Organized and accurate with a strong attention to detail.
    • Judgement and decision-making skills.
  • Experience and Education
    • 5 years or more of experience in facilities maintenance and repair.
    • College or CEGEP diploma in a relevant field.
