Job Summary

Nature's Path Foods is seeking a skilled Forklift Operator to join our team on a night shift schedule. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for operating a forklift safely and efficiently, performing safety checks, and maintaining a safe and clean environment for all team members.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate a forklift in accordance with plant forklift rules and regulations.
  • Perform safety checks on the forklift and log any safety discrepancies.
  • Maintain a safe and clean environment for all team members.
  • Follow all aspects of the Lock Out Tag Out program.
  • Ensure continuous production operation of packaging lines and follow Nature's Path's safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Ensure all proper paperwork and materials are used, including pallets, slip sheets, WIP paperwork, and finished skid labeling paperwork.
  • Coordinate with Quality Assurance to ensure that all incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards.
  • Comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Lean Initiatives as set forth by management.
  • Ensure that all finished goods are properly labeled and staged for shipping.
  • Maintain an accurate and detailed operator's log.

Requirements

  • Ability to work on a night shift schedule.
  • Ability to operate a forklift safely and efficiently.
  • Ability to perform safety checks and maintain a safe and clean environment.
  • Ability to follow all aspects of the Lock Out Tag Out program.
  • Ability to ensure continuous production operation of packaging lines.
  • Ability to coordinate with Quality Assurance.
  • Ability to comply with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP's) and Lean Initiatives.
