Job Responsibilities

  • Utilize counterbalance and reach forklifts for the transportation of goods and materials.
  • Efficiently load and unload shipping containers and trucks with the use of forklifts.
  • Organize and stack products and materials in specified locations.
  • Maintain precise records of material movements and inventory levels.
  • Conduct regular maintenance and safety inspections on forklifts.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols while operating forklifts.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to promote an effective workflow.

Qualifications

  • Possession of a valid counterbalance and reach forklift operator certification.
  • Demonstrated experience in operating counterbalance and reach forklifts within a warehouse or distribution environment.
  • Capability to maneuver forklifts safely in confined areas.
  • Understanding of material handling and storage techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail for accurate documentation and material organization.
  • Effective communication skills and ability to function well in a team setting.
