Bourbon Street Grill Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Cook to join our culinary team at Bourbon Street Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.

Responsibilities
  • Food Preparation: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
  • Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
  • Supply Management: Order supplies and equipment as needed to maintain a well-stocked kitchen.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise kitchen staff and helpers to ensure they are working efficiently and effectively.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure we are operating within budget.
  • Cleanliness: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.

Requirements

  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a kitchen environment.

Working Conditions

  • Work Term: Permanent position.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
