Job Title: Maintenance Worker

We are seeking a reliable and skilled Maintenance Worker to join our team at Hampton Inn & Homewood Suites Halifax. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our hotel and resort.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Operate industrial vacuum cleaners to remove debris and maintain a clean environment
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks such as painting and drywall repair
  • Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilation, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Water and tend to plants, lawns, and/or gardens
  • Clean and disinfect bathrooms and fixtures
  • Perform safety and security checks
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a related field
  • Ability to work in all weather conditions
  • Dependability, flexibility, judgement, organized, and reliability
