Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at Square Mile Development Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for operating heavy equipment, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring the safe operation of equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment in an outdoor environment, adhering to safety protocols and guidelines.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks, including cleaning and lubricating equipment, and refilling tanks.
  • Conduct pre-operational checks on equipment to ensure safe operation.
  • Prepare accident reports and perform minor repairs to equipment as needed.
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in heavy equipment operation.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment.
  • Attention to detail and ability to follow safety protocols.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work outdoors in a variety of weather conditions. The work environment is physically demanding, requiring the ability to lift, bend, and stand for extended periods.
