Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Change Management Specialist to join our team at Langara College. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in leading the development of organizational change management strategies, plans, and analysis to ensure successful adoption of improved processes and supporting suite of new solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Change Management Strategies: Lead the development of organizational change management strategies, plans, and analysis to ensure successful adoption of improved processes and supporting suite of new solutions.
  • Support Change and Adoption Activities: Specifically support change and adoption activities within individual projects, identifying impacts to process, policy, data, technology, and people changes and leading transformation activities required to facilitate transition from current state to future state.
  • Collaborate with Stakeholders: Work closely with stakeholders to understand and adapt to new processes and solutions, providing strategic perspective and broad-based understanding of business operations.
  • Provide Training and Support: Develop and deliver training and support materials to ensure successful adoption of new processes and solutions.
  • Monitor and Evaluate Progress: Monitor and evaluate progress, making adjustments as needed to ensure successful implementation of change management strategies.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: Undergraduate degree in a relevant discipline, with a minimum of 5 years of combined experience in organizational change management, process improvement, organization development, communications, or a related field.
  • Skills and Abilities: Excellent organizational, planning, and prioritization skills, with ability to work and communicate effectively with others, both verbally and in writing. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills, with ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality and work independently and in a team environment.
  • Leadership Competencies: Solution orientation, relationship intelligence, conflict resolution, mobilization of people, vision and strategic thinking, continuous learning, accountability, and communication.
