Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Enterprise Change Management Specialist to join our team at Island Health. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in driving healthcare transformation and ensuring a smooth transition to new initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Implement Change Management Strategies: Create and execute comprehensive change management plans to maximize employee adoption and minimize resistance.
  • Lead Large-Scale Change Initiatives: Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement large-scale change initiatives, ensuring successful outcomes and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Build Partnerships and Collaborate with Stakeholders: Foster strong relationships with health professionals, patients, and community groups to drive healthcare transformation and improve service delivery.
  • Provide Expertise in Facilitation and Consensus Building: Utilize your expertise in facilitation, consensus building, and networking to bring together multiple stakeholders and drive collective decision-making.
  • Drive Quality Improvement Processes: Develop and implement quality improvement processes, such as Patient Journey Mapping and LEAN design, to drive continuous improvement and enhance patient care.
  • Teach and Train Others: Utilize adult learning principles to teach and train others on change management strategies, quality improvement processes, and other relevant topics.
Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Health-Related Field: A Master's degree in a health-related field, such as health sciences, nursing, or medicine, or social sciences.
  • Minimum 5 Years of Experience: A minimum of 5 years of experience working in a healthcare environment, with recent experience in project or change management, strategic planning, and patient and community engagement.
  • Change Management Certification: Change management certification is an asset.
  • Excellent Interpersonal and Communication Skills: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to provide leadership to a team and collaborate with a variety of stakeholder groups.
