Kitchen Assistant

We are seeking a reliable and team-oriented individual to join our team at Lake Country Radio Cafe as a Kitchen Helper. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and safe working environment, ensuring the highest standards of food preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean and sanitize kitchen areas, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
- Supply Management: Receive, unpack, and store supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
- Waste Management: Remove kitchen garbage and trash, and ensure that all waste is disposed of properly.
- Food Preparation: Wash, peel, and cut vegetables and fruit, and assist with food preparation as needed.
- Equipment Maintenance: Sharpen kitchen knives and maintain equipment in good working order.
- Floor Care: Sweep, mop, wash, and polish floors to maintain a clean and safe working environment.
As a Kitchen Helper at Lake Country Radio Cafe, you will work in a fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks. You will be required to stand for extended periods and work in a team-oriented setting.
Requirements- Reliability: We are looking for someone who is reliable and can work independently with minimal supervision.
- Team Player: You will be working as part of a team, so excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
- Availability: We require someone who is available to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays.
