Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled Strategic Insights Manager to join our team. As a key member of our commercial organization, you will be responsible for leading all aspects of primary and secondary marketing research information and developing insights for assigned brands. Your expertise will drive key commercial decisions and support our business growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in identifying and prioritizing commercial knowledge and insight gaps, as well as key business decisions.
- Lead the implementation of primary research projects that address commercial information/insight gaps or decisions.
- Develop and implement secondary research reports and metrics for product and squad teams to track and measure product outcomes, measures, and results.
- Deliver high-quality market and product reports/insights with marketing implications for the brand, as well as lead insight projects to drive deep customer learning.
- Support the development of national and provincial forecasts for assigned promoted brands to support product and squad partners.
- Ensure that projects and procedures are conducted in accordance with internal compliance policies.
- Mentor Insights/Business Analysts.
Requirements
- University degree in business, commerce, statistics, or economics.
- 5 years of experience in pharma primary marketing research.
- 5 years of experience in pharma secondary data analysis and sources (e.g., IMS Brogan).
- 5 years of experience in pharma forecasting, both market-based and epidemiology.
- Good problem-solving skills.
- Good analytical skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Good technical/computer systems knowledge (e.g., Excel, Tableau, Word, PowerPoint, SPSS).
- Good project management skills.
- Good strategic thinking skills.
- Good SQL, Python, Tableau skills.
