The Opportunity: Financial Decision Support Consultant

As a Financial Decision Support Consultant, you will be a strategic business partner who leverages your comprehensive understanding of financial performance drivers to identify areas for improvement. You will create innovative solutions and present them to senior business partners, providing mentorship to less experienced Financial Analysts along the way.

How You'll Make an Impact:
  • Analyze Business Performance: Design and apply specific modeling techniques to evaluate the financial condition of our business. This involves identifying key performance indicators (KPIs) to analyze risk and return levels. Coach less senior Financial Analysts in their analysis functions, developing budgets, forecasts, and multi-year plans. Investigate performance results, challenging business partners to determine root causes and focusing on identifying ways to improve both short-term and long-term financial outlook.
  • Contribute to Business Case Development: Assist in developing business case templates and support management in creating unique and complex business cases. Mentor less senior Financial Analysts in business case analysis.
  • Research & Competitive Analysis: Research best practices, analyze competitive, economic, and regulatory environments to identify complex issues and advantages. Enhance internal partnerships (marketing, financial peers across the group of companies) to create innovative solutions and ensure that competitive information is relevant and translated into actionable insights for business decisions. Mentor less senior Financial Analysts in research techniques.
  • Develop & Present Solutions: Develop data-driven solutions and present them clearly and concisely to senior stakeholders, influencing decision-making processes and driving positive change within the organization.
