Commercial Insights Manager – Head Office – Mississauga

Position Purpose

JTI Macdonald Corp. is seeking a highly skilled Commercial Insights Manager to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our Strategic Insights team, you will play a critical role in analyzing and interpreting commercial data to drive informed business decisions. Your expertise in data modeling and analysis will enable you to identify patterns, trends, and relationships within large datasets, and communicate insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities and Duties

  • Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations to present key findings and metrics to partners.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business needs, extract relevant data, and provide comprehensive analyses.
  • Ensure global reporting is performed in a timely manner.
  • Stay up to date with industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to data modeling and analysis.
  • Proactively find opportunities for process improvement and propose innovative solutions to enhance data quality and operational efficiency.

Required qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field. A master's degree is preferred.
  • Shown experience in data analysis, preferably in a fast-paced and data-driven environment.
  • Strong proficiency in data modeling techniques, including conceptual, logical, and physical modeling.
  • Familiarity with data visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or QlikView.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
