Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Community Engagement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be the first point of contact for community members accessing our services. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities
  • Providing exceptional customer service and support to community members
  • Coordinating and communicating with AFCC staff and community partners
  • Managing the front desk area and primary office
  • Providing outreach support and referrals to community members
  • Assisting with general office duties and supporting AFCC team members
Requirements
  • Background and experience working with Indigenous populations
  • Familiarity with Indigenous culture, protocols, and histories
  • Experience working with community-based organizations
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
