About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Dishroom Attendant to join our team at Embassy West Senior Living. As a key member of our food service team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness and organization of our dishroom and kitchen areas.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate dishwashers to wash dishes, glassware, and flatware, ensuring they are sanitized and ready for use.
  • Load and unload buspans and trays, maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
  • Clear and clean tables, trays, and chairs, ensuring a clean and safe environment for our residents and staff.
  • Replenish condiments and other supplies at tables and serving areas, maintaining a well-stocked and efficient operation.
  • Sanitize and wash dishes and other items by hand, adhering to our high standards of cleanliness and sanitation.
  • Participate in cleaning and sanitizing the kitchen, including work surfaces, cupboards, storage areas, appliances, and equipment.
  • Assist with receiving, unpacking, and storing supplies in refrigerators, freezers, cupboards, and other storage areas.
  • Remove kitchen garbage and trash, maintaining a clean and safe environment.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by management.
Requirements
  • No degree, certificate, or diploma required.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a similar role.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, as well as stand for long periods.
Working Conditions

This is a permanent, full-time position, working 40 hours per week. The successful candidate will be required to work in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, with a focus on providing exceptional service to our residents and staff.
