About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Construction Laborer and Helper to join our team at Yellow Belly Brewery. As a key member of our construction team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth execution of our building projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Loading and Unloading: Safely load and unload construction materials, equipment, and supplies from vehicles and storage areas.
  • Material Handling: Assist in mixing, pouring, and spreading materials such as concrete and asphalt, ensuring accurate measurements and quality control.
  • Site Support: Assist in aligning pipes during pipeline construction, framing houses, erecting walls, and building roofs, while maintaining a safe and organized work environment.
  • Cleanliness and Maintenance: Clean and pile salvaged materials, perform routine maintenance work, and remove rubble and other debris from construction sites.
  • Health and Safety: Participate in regular safety inspections, report any hazards or incidents, and adhere to all safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate, or diploma is required for this role.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field is preferred.
  • Physical Demands: This role requires physical stamina, manual dexterity, and the ability to handle heavy loads, up to 23 kg (50 lbs).
  • Language: Fluency in English is essential for effective communication and collaboration with the team.
