Overview

We are seeking an experienced Cloud Transformation Leader/Consultant to assist prominent clients in the strategic planning, implementation, and oversight of extensive cloud transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will possess a strong foundation in cloud technologies, software development, program oversight, and strategic execution. This position will collaborate closely with senior stakeholders to ensure that cloud projects align with corporate goals and generate substantial business benefits.

Key Responsibilities Facilitate the development of cloud transformation strategies with stakeholders to outline objectives, budgets, timelines, and performance indicators Assume full accountability for all facets of the cloud transformation program, including planning, execution, and delivery Oversee the comprehensive processes involved in cloud transformation, ensuring coordination among various teams and a unified approach across the organization Proactively identify, assess, and mitigate risks, ready to implement contingency measures to minimize program impact Design large-scale cloud architectures that address complex business requirements and adhere to industry standards Develop and manage a thorough program plan encompassing all elements of the cloud transformation, including infrastructure, applications, security, and compliance Supervise the execution of cloud transformation projects from inception to completion, ensuring timely and budget-compliant delivery Act as a subject matter expert, offering thought leadership on cloud technologies and establishing best practices in the cloud sector Collaborate with business leaders to comprehend their strategic goals and translate these into actionable cloud transformation projects Navigate organizational dynamics and manage change effectively, ensuring minimal disruption and maximum adoption of new cloud services Establish robust governance frameworks and processes to guide the program and facilitate informed, data-driven decisions Monitor and manage vendor partnerships, ensuring services and solutions meet contractual obligations and deliver optimal value Maintain proactive communication with all key stakeholders, from executives to technical teams and vendors Strive to build consensus among diverse interests and address concerns to sustain alignment on strategic objectives In partnership with clients, drive effective organizational change management, ensuring seamless adaptation to new processes and technologies Possess a deep understanding of AI/ML technologies, digital strategies, software engineering excellence, user experience, product management, and development Foster a program culture that emphasizes continuous improvement, seeking stakeholder feedback, and refining processes Mentor and cultivate internal talent in cloud technologies and transformation methodologies

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline; a Master's degree or MBA is preferred Professional certifications in cloud architecture and project management, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, Google Certified Professional Cloud Architect, PMP, etc. At least 15 years of experience in IT, with a minimum of 8 years dedicated to cloud computing in a leadership capacity Proven success in leading large-scale cloud transformation projects within complex enterprise environments Background in Enterprise/Solutions architecture for cloud transformation initiatives Experience in Data Strategy, Master Data Management, and data migrations to the cloud Strong knowledge of cloud services (IaaS, PaaS, SaaS) and cloud providers (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) Expertise in infrastructure automation, DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and containerization technologies Exceptional leadership capabilities with the ability to influence without direct authority and navigate intricate political landscapes Excellent communication, presentation, and facilitation skills, with the ability to tailor messages for diverse audiences Willingness to travel as necessary to engage with clients and stakeholders
