R&D Manager

We are seeking an experienced R&D Manager to lead a team of R&D System Engineers in the design and development of Medical Capital Equipment programs. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring program objectives are met, logistics are effectively coordinated, and budgets are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and lead a team of R&D System Engineers to achieve project goals and objectives.
- Provide strategic and technical guidance to support product development and sustaining activities.
- Monitor daily work operations and provide direction and guidance to staff.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential.
- Interact with customers to meet their needs and provide project updates.
- Engage in cross-functional discussions to drive results and efficiently execute activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering discipline.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience.
- Experience as a Mentor and/or Coach.
- Detailed understanding of design control process per ISO 13485, 14971, IEC 62366.
- Superior communication skills and strong leadership skills.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approx. 10-15%.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Familiarity of ISO 60601, 62304.
- Experience as a Manager.
- Experience as a Systems Engineer.
