R&D Manager

We are seeking an experienced Associate R&D Manager to lead a team of R&D System Engineers in the design and development of Medical Capital Equipment programs. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring program objectives are met, logistics are effectively coordinated, and budgets are adhered to.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage a high-performing team of R&D System Engineers, providing guidance and support to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Provide strategic and technical guidance to support product development and sustaining activities, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Monitor daily work operations and provide direction and guidance to staff to achieve project goals.
- Foster a diverse and inclusive workplace that enables all participants to contribute to their full potential.
- Interact with customers, meeting regularly, responding to requests, and providing project updates.
- Engage in cross-functional discussions to drive results and efficiently execute activities.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures, including FDA, BSI, and EEO regulations.
- Bachelor's degree in an Engineering discipline.
- 6+ years of relevant work experience, including experience as a Mentor and/or Coach.
- Detailed understanding of design control process per ISO 13485, 14971, and IEC 62366.
- Superior communication skills and strong leadership abilities.
- Ability to travel domestically and internationally, approximately 10-15%.
- Bachelor's and/or Master's in Mechanical, Electrical, or Biomedical Engineering.
- Familiarity with ISO 60601 and 62304.
- Experience as a Manager and/or Systems Engineer.
