Position Overview

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of a college, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma program lasting 1 to 2 years.
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year and up to 2 years of relevant experience or equivalent qualifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Formulate specific strategies to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Organize and delegate responsibilities to ensure all work is completed efficiently.
  • Provide training to staff on their roles and company policies.
  • Compile and present reports on operational performance.
  • Oversee the functionality of office equipment and resolve any technical issues.
  • Address work-related challenges, offering technical guidance and suggesting improvements to enhance productivity and quality.
  • Coordinate, assign, and review the work of team members.
  • Manage the requisition of materials, equipment, and supplies.
  • Schedule and oversee maintenance and repair activities.
  • Collaborate with other departments to align activities and goals.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures for staff.
Supervisory Responsibilities

This position involves supervising a team of 5-10 individuals, including:

  • Administrative clerks
  • General office clerks
  • Telephone operators
  • Typists and word processing operators
Technical Proficiency

Proficiency in the following software is required:

  • MS Excel
  • MS Outlook
  • MS Word
  • QuickBooks
