We are seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Engineering Lead - Mechanical to join our team at J&T MACHINE KNIFE INC. As a key member of our maintenance team, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our mechanical systems.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct research and analysis to identify opportunities for improvement in mechanical system design and operation.
  • Develop and implement maintenance standards, schedules, and programs to ensure optimal system performance.
  • Supervise and inspect the installation of mechanical systems to ensure compliance with design specifications and industry standards.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot mechanical failures or unexpected maintenance problems to minimize downtime and optimize system performance.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement projects, and prepare material, cost, and timing estimates, reports, and design specifications for machinery and systems.
  • Supervise and review the work of technicians, technologists, and other engineers to ensure adherence to design specifications and industry standards.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
  • 1-2 years of experience in maintenance engineering or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, including design, operation, and maintenance.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

  • Physically demanding work, including standing for extended periods and lifting heavy objects.
